This page lists the Java and Flash applets that we have re-done in HTML5 (and are known as "webapps"), plus any new ones that have been created using HTML5. This means they can be run on computers, tablets, phones...as long as the browser supports HTML5.

While it is called "HTML5", it is actually a stack of technologies (HTML5, CSS, DOM, JavaScript) that have finally become standardized enough to be used "everywhere". We are also moving in that direction (and away from Java and Flash applets) when possible. The term "webapps" (short for "web applications" are programs that use the HTML5 technologies and run in web browsers. They are not downloaded or installed, in the traditional sense.
